Dr. Davis

Veterinarian

Dr. Davis is a recent graduate of Auburn University's Collage of Veterinary Medicine and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of the Cumberlands, Majorin in Biology.

Dr. Davis knew that he wanted to be a veterinarian at a young age. Working with animals became his passion after volunteering at the Knox-Whitley Animal Shelter and working at Corbin Animal Clinic. Dr. Davis began shadowing at Corbin Animal Clinic in 2013 and later hired on as a technician in 2014. Corbin Animal Clinic is a second home to Dr. Davis, so it is fitting that he would return after graduating from veterinary school. He is Williamsburg native and first generation college graduate.

Ashley Day

Head Vet Technician

Ashley is our head Veterinary Technician here at CAC, and has been with us for 7 years! Ashley has a soft spot for disabled animals and has 10 fur family members of her own, including brothers Dan and Huxley, who were both born with disabilities, Patrick, a love bunny with e. Cuniculi, which affects his vision and has caused a permanent and severe head tilt, and Esme the Wonder Kitty who has only one leg! Ashley also founded a TNR organization for the feral cats in our community and volunteers countless hours providing low-cost spay and neuter clinics for our area. Ashley says her favorite part of working at Corbin Animal Clinic is being able to educate owners regarding their pets health needs. “You can have the greatest intention, but without knowledge of what you need to do, intention will get you nowhere.”

Briana

Vet Technician/Kennel Assistant

Briana works with us as a veterinary technician and kennel assistant. She has a 19-month-old baby, and two fur babies of her own, Daisy & Honey. Daisy was abandoned by her owners here at the clinic, and Briana came to her rescue and took her in. She says her favorite thing about her job is getting to interact with our patients and getting to know their individual personalities.

Emilea

Vet Technician/Kennel Assistant

Emilea has been with us for little over a year now. She works as a veterinary technician and kennel assistant. Emilea says her favorite thing to do as a vet tech is wolf worm extractions. She has three pets of her own, Cinnamon, Ellie Mae, and Chip! And she often volunteers for low-cost spay and neuter clinics. Pictured with her is her sweet and adorable Cinnamon, aka Cinny, who accompanies her to work on a regular basis!

Courtney Smith

Groomer

Courtney graduated from grooming school in 2012 and has been grooming for 7 years. Courtney’s favorite thing about her job is getting to find the diamond in the “ruff.” She has pets come in on occasion that have recently been rescued or passed to new owners after neglectful situations, and she loves being able to work through all the fur and tangles to help the sweet soul underneath emerge.
